    • April 25, 2006 - Thanks to "An angry WOW user" for sending a couple News.com links regarding problems in Blizzard's World of WarCraft. The first one deals with accounting problems Blizz has been having recently. Namely, making accounts inactive for people who have valid credit cards.

  • 'Alagiah to anchor BBC World 'NewsHour' (Digital Spy)
    • Six O'Clock News co-anchor George Alagiah will anchor a news broadcast on BBC World aimed at the US breakfast audience, it was confirmed today. The channel plans to air NewsHour at peak times in US and Asian timezones, with Alagiah's slot airing at 12pm GMT/1pm BST (7am EST/8am EDT). Alagiah will continue co-anchoring on BBC One at 6pm.

  • 'French star Zinedine Zidane to retire after World Cup (USA Today)
    • French midfielder Zinedine Zidane will retire after the World Cup in Germany. Zidane helped France win the 1998 World Cup on home soil and the 2000 European Championship. Zidane, who plays for Real Madrid, was FIFA's World Player of the Year in 1998, 2000 and 2003.

  • 'Arab World Outraged by Egypt Explosions (AP via Yahoo! News)
    • The Arab world reacted in horror and outrage Tuesday at the bombings of an Egyptian resort ? and a rift opened between hardline al-Qaida sympathizers and other radical Muslim groups who say the latest attacks have gone too far.
